Later, she also took on the lead role in the DC Universe’s series “Stargirl (2020-2022).” Bassinger began her career in the industry at the age of 13 with roles in series such as “Haunted Hathaways (2013-2014)” and “School of Rock (2016-2018).”

Outside of acting, she's also recognized for her advocacy work around Type 1 diabetes. It’s a condition Bassinger herself was diagnosed with at just 8 years old. That same year, she starred as Kilee in the horror-thriller “Killer Under the Bed (2018).” Kilee is a teenager grieving the loss of her father and struggling to adjust to her new school, where she becomes the target of bullying. Soon, however, the narrative takes a darker turn as she discovers a voodoo doll riddled with pins in her backyard. More recently, she appeared as Margaret Williams in “The Man in the White Van (2023)” and is set to feature in “Final Destination: Bloodlines (2025) as Iris Campbell.”
