Diego Luna is a Mexican actor, director, and producer known for his work in both Latin American and Hollywood cinema. He was born on December 29, 1979, in Toluca, Mexico. Luna started acting at a young age of 7 with stage plays. His father, Alejandro Luna, was a theater set designer. He started his acting career by appearing in many telenovelas and films. He made his TV debut with El abuelo y yo in 1992.

He made his breakthrough with the film Y Tu Mamá También (2001).
