Canadian actress Katie Douglas began her career at the age of six, first appearing in commercials before moving into television and film. She is best known for her roles as Abby Littman in Ginny & Georgia (2021-2025), Lisa McVey in Believe Me: The Abduction of Lisa McVey (2018), and Naomi Malik in Mary Kills People (2017-2019). Her performance as Sally Wilcox in the fantasy adventure series Spooksville earned her a Daytime Emmy nomination in 2014. Douglas is set to reprise her role as Abby Littman in Ginny & Georgia’s upcoming Season 3, which premieres on June 5, 2025.

Katie Douglas starred as Vivien in the 2018 science-fiction dystopia Level 16, portraying a teenager trapped in a militarized boarding school that grooms girls into being obedient members of society. In Believe Me: The Abduction of Lisa McVey (2018), she played the real-life survivor of a 1984 kidnapping. In The Walk (2022), she portrayed Kate Coughlin, and more recently, she starred in The Girl Who Escaped: The Kara Robinson Story (2023), taking on the role of Kara, who survived an abduction by serial killer Richard Evonitz. Her performance in the latter earned her a Canadian Screen Award in 2024.

Douglas’s breakout role on television was as Sally Wilcox, a curious teenager navigating a town filled with supernatural dangers, in Spooksville (2013-2014). In Raising Expectations (2016), she portrayed Conner Wayney, a global activist. She took on a darker turn in Mary Kills People (2017-2019), as Naomi Malik. In Defiance (2013-2015), she plays Irzu, a mysterious and almost divine figure guarding the Irathient race. More recently, she appeared in Pretty Hard Cases (2021-2023) as Jackie Sullivan and in Ginny & Georgia (2021-2025) as Abby Littman.
