Zach Galifianakis is a comedian and actor known for his unpredictable style and offbeat humor. A North Carolina native, his comedy journey started in the back of a hamburger joint in New York City after he left college just one course short of graduation. He performed at several live entertainment venues across the city, including coffee shops and universities.

His early screen appearances ranged from eccentric roles on shows like “Tru Calling (2003-2005)" to cameos in productions like “Reno 911! (2005-2007)” and “Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job (2007-2010).” He reached mainstream prominence in 2009 with the success of “The Hangover,” where he portrayed Alan Garner. Later, this role led to other major comedic roles in “Due Date (2010),” “Dinner for Schmucks (2010),” and “The Campaign (2012).” Galifianakis is also a two-time Primetime Emmy and Screen Actors Guild Award winner.
