NBC’s Brooklyn Nine-Nine is an American television show that ran from September 17, 2013 to September 16, 2021 for 8 seasons comprising 153 episodes.
Created by Dan Goor and Michael Schur, Brooklyn Nine-Nine is about the police officers of NYPD’s 99th precinct. In early episodes of the show, the show focuses on the detectives of the 99th precinct as they get to know their new commanding officer, Captain Raymond Holt, played by the Late Andre Braugher. Captain Holt is a stern, calculating man who takes his job very seriously, which directly contradicts the protagonist Jake Peralta’s nature, who is a great detective with childlike tendencies.
