The 7th season of The Walking Dead has various deaths across its 16-episode run. The series is set in a post-apocalyptic world where Earth as we know it is close to being on the verge of extinction, being swamped by zombies. Protagonist Rick Grimes, played by Andrew Lincoln, faces new challenges and struggles in his path to keep himself and his group alive in a world full of Walkers and ruthless people.


Released under the banner AMC, The Walking Dead aired its 7th season on October 23, 2016, which lasted around 5 months with a total of 16 episodes, ending on April 2, 2017. The series has been written for television by Frank Darabont and is known to be the adaptation of the comic book series going by the same name written by Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore, and Charlie Adlard.

Season 7 of The Walking Dead opens with the shocking aftermath of Negan's arrival, as he brutally kills Glenn and Abraham, leaving Rick's group shattered. Negan enforces his rule through fear, forcing the survivors to submit to his group called the Saviors. Rick struggles to maintain hope while navigating this oppressive new reality. Meanwhile, alliances form as Carol and Morgan encounter the Kingdom, led by King Ezekiel, and Maggie takes refuge at the Hilltop. Daryl endures captivity under Negan, while Rosita and Sasha plan revenge. The season builds toward rebellion, as Rick's group unites with new allies and common enemies to Negan preparing for an all-out war.
