Lucy is known to be one of the recurring side characters in The Big Bang Theory from season 6 to season 10. Throughout the series, we have seen Lucy’s character as an awkward young woman, who is socially anxious around people she has no connections with. While that is the case, she still motivates herself to get into tricky and uncomfortable situations.


Lucy was introduced in The Big Bang Theory during episode sixteen of the sixth season, titled "The Tangible Affection Proof." During this episode, we see one of the main cast Raj entering the Comic Book Store during their Valentine's Day party which was specially held for people who were single and without a date. After Raj's speech, we see Lucy having an interest in him as she compliments him on his speech. After asking him for a date, we see the two in a relationship for a couple of seasons after eventually breaking things up by the end of season 6.
