At a routine doctor's appointment, Steffy and Liam learned that she also had a baby in her belly. Ridge enlisted Quinn's help in procuring the perfect engagement ring for Brooke. Brooke accepted Ridge's proposal, and she and Ridge consummated their engagement. With Eric, Thorne asserted his desire to have Brooke and to be a father and son design team with Eric. Thorne urged Eric to fire Ridge, who needed to learn a lesson about how he treated people.

J.J. was consumed with guilt, and Eric urged him to forgive himself. Eric told Jennifer that he did not believe J.J. could move forward unless Theo woke up. Will reached out to Sami, and they made a truce. Ciara overheard Rafe confess to sleeping with Sami. Ciara did not confront Rafe, but she lashed out at him in anger repeatedly. Sami said goodbye to everyone and left Salem. Gabi delayed her answer to Kate's buyout proposal when Eve made a counteroffer for Gabi Chic. Lucas detoxed. Rafe and Hope agreed to marry as soon as possible. Sonny learned that Will had kissed Paul. Sonny convinced Will to give their marriage another chance and move into the mansion. Brady attempted to force Eve out. Steve tricked Kate into confessing her part in Theo's shooting and blackmail while Chad recorded the conversation from the hallway. Internal Affairs reached a decision about J.J.

Kevin and Laura set a wedding date for Christmas Day. Lulu realized that she had stumbled onto a big story when she found voting ballots for the 2014 mayoral election at Wyndemere, but Nina pointed out that the ballots might implicate Nikolas in election tampering. Anna moved Finn into her home for his protection because he refused to decline Cassandra's offer to work as her chemist. Finn and Anna shared a passionate kiss. Sam told Jason that she could never regret loving Drew. Sam tried to return the wedding ring that Jason had given her, but he asked her to keep it for Danny. Alexis warned Drew that he and Sam were not legally married. Drew talked to Oscar, but Oscar was wary of his father. Britt revealed that Cesar Faison had fled Port Charles when a P.K. Sinclair manuscript had mysteriously appeared. Britt decided to turn herself in and deal with the criminal charges facing her because she was tired of living on the run. Andre told Jordan that his work had been inspired by his wife who had suffered from early-onset Alzheimer's. Andre revealed that all his work, including Jason and Drew's memory mapping, had been hidden in a Christmas ornament that he gave to Anna. Julian bought a bar when the charges against him were dropped.

Abby admitted to Lily that she'd had sex with Scott. Faith sneaked out without Sharon's knowledge and witnessed Scott and Abby kissing. Scott and Sharon professed their love to one another. Mariah noticed Faith's cold attitude toward Scott, and Faith eventually blabbed about Scott and Abby's kiss. Mariah warned Scott not to hurt Sharon or he'd have to answer to her. Both Victor and Devon lost their bids on Chancellor Park, but the identity of the high bidder remained a mystery. Nick staged a protest in the park against the developers. Ashley was shocked when Ravi tendered his resignation to take a job at Newman. Ashley cited a non-compete clause in Ravi's contract that prevented him from taking a position with a competitor, and he stayed at Jabot. Jack returned as Jabot's CEO and planned to work from home while caring for Dina. Dina interrupted an important video conference because she mistook Jack's colleague for Traci. Jack invited Hilary to spend Christmas with the Abbotts. Billy was livid when the business news praised Cane for his efforts at Chancellor. Auditors discovered an anomaly in one of Victor's personal bank accounts, and J.T. returned to town to investigate. Reed avoided J.T., but Cane arranged for them to spend time together. Nikki confessed to Victoria that she'd stolen funds from Victor and transferred them into an overseas account. Victoria appealed to J.T. to help Nikki avoid punishment, but he insisted that Nikki face the consequences of her actions.
