Hope felt she was taking Liam away from the family he already had with Steffy

Hope struggled with her guilt over taking Liam away from the family he already had with Steffy. Believing that she was preventing the girls from having a father, Hope told Liam to leave and be with Steffy, whom they all knew he cared about. Justin met with Donna to find out how she felt about his plan to reunite Bill and Katie. Donna revealed the plan to Katie, who promptly advised Donna to drop it. Bill asked Wyatt to return to Spencer Publications, but Wyatt refused to do it unless Bill reopened Spectra Fashions for Sally. Bill agreed to the deal -- as long as Wyatt never called Bill a dressmaker.

Sarah worried that Rex had cheated on her the previous Valentine's Day, and she investigated to confirm that was not the case. Chad and Abigail remarried and moved to Paris. Furious that Gabi had tied him up so that Sonny and Will could spend the night together, Leo handed over his photos to the police. Eli was forced to arrest Will and Sonny for attempted murder. John told Diana that he intended to inform Marlena that Leo was his son. Stefan fired Gabi. Eve discovered that Haley was Melinda's sister, and Eve convinced Jack to use the information for his campaign. Ben saved Ciara from Jordan but was shaken by the fact that he almost killed his sister. Abe appointed Ted as the interim D.A. The judge dropped the charges against Jordan and ordered her to go to Bayview for treatment. Claire thought about when she had set the first fire at the cabin.

Laura was stunned when she followed "Kevin" to Ferncliff and found her husband locked up in one of the rooms. Ryan managed to knock out Laura then spirit her and Kevin to the basement, where he held them captive. Ava accepted "Kevin's" marriage proposal. Franco agreed to work with Jordan to lure the killer out of hiding by pleading guilty and taking credit for the murders. Jordan warned Franco that no one, including Elizabeth, could know the truth. Elizabeth refused to believe that Franco had committed the murders, but she couldn't understand why he had pleaded guilty. Cam and Josslyn made plans with Oscar and another friend to drive to Niagara Falls. Kim confirmed Carly's pregnancy, but Carly and Sonny agreed to keep the news about the baby to themselves for a bit. Robert gave Sonny an update on Dante. Shiloh invited Sam on a short trip out of town to see a special place that he promised would be transformative. Harmony warned Shiloh that Jason posed a threat to both Shiloh and Dawn of Day. Maxie took steps to have Sasha's DNA tested. Dr. Cabot revealed that Anna had been a part of a covert experiment on memory transfer. Drew was hit by a blinding headache and passed out behind the wheel of his car. Jordan was struck by Drew's car while walking in the hospital's parking garage.

Kyle found an unconscious Lola in the Abbott pool and called for help, but she remained in a coma. Mia discovered that she'd lost an earring on the night of the assault. Mia was horrified when Abby showed up to tell her about Lola's condition. Rey and Arturo refused to let Kyle see Lola. Kyle lashed out at Summer. Rey suspected that Summer had attacked Lola. Rey learned about Abby and Mia's fight when Abby apologized. Summer professed her love to Kyle, who remained devoted to Lola. Devon suffered a panic attack while being at the hospital for the first time since Hilary's death, but he channeled the strength to offer supportive words to Lola. Brittany advised Sharon to recant her confession. Nikki penned a letter about her life to her grandchildren. Phyllis negotiated an immunity deal with Christine in exchange for physical evidence and the truth about J.T.'s death. Christine again questioned Mariah, who confirmed that a videotape existed from the night of J.T.'s disappearance. Mariah wondered why Phyllis had been released when Sharon, Nikki, and Victoria remained in police custody. At the women's arraignment, Christine amended the charges and announced that Phyllis was her star witness. Nikki, Victoria, and Sharon were denied bail. Jack and Kerry drew closer when he shared memories of Dina.
