Brooke and Ridge helped Eric sort out his feelings for Quinn, and Eric decided to reconcile with his wife. Zoe slipped into Carter's loft to surprise him but was devastated to find him in bed -- with someone's clothing on the floor. Brooke, Ridge, Eric, and Paris were shocked to learn from Zoe that Carter had another woman. When Zoe spotted the red jacket she'd seen on Carter's bedroom floor, Shauna took ownership of the jacket and the affair with Carter. Realizing that he'd gone too far and that he was better when he was with Zoe, Carter reinstated his engagement to Zoe. Eric apologized to Quinn and expressed his desire to work on their marriage.

Steve interrupted Ava's date, and she apologized to him for her past misdeeds. Kristen kidnapped Sami and Lucas and locked them in the wine cellar. Sami and Lucas argued and kissed. A battered Kate returned home and found Jake and Gabi in bed together. Brady told John that Kristen had switched places with Susan. Jake told Gabi that he wanted to be with her. Kristen took Chloe hostage. Jake found Kate unconscious.

Gladys overheard Sasha on the phone, requesting a prescription for morning sickness, then jumped to the conclusion that Cyrus was the father rather than Brando. Britt shared her secrets with Jason. Dante was reinstated as a detective at the Port Charles Police Department. Sam caught up with Jason and Britt, but Dante was hot on her heels. Nina agreed to go on a date with Elijah, but she had an ulterior motive. "Mike" broke into Elijah's office, but he was forced to improvise when he accidentally set off the alarms. Nina found information on Elijah's computer, but Elijah caught her snooping. Alexis offered to help Shawn with his parole hearing, but he revealed that he was not guilty of the crime that he'd been convicted of. Nikolas decided to safeguard Alexis by buying Pentonville. Josslyn opted to attend Port Charles University and to get an apartment with Trina. Jordan and Portia discussed how differently things might have gone in the parking garage if one of their children had been confronted by the police instead of Cameron. Diane offered Carly advice. Maxie hired a nurse to help her, not realizing that Chloe had agreed to report to Peter. Dr. Navarro advised Maxie to have her labor induced immediately. Valentin announced that he and Charlotte would move in with Brook Lynn. Anna was forced to turn to Peter for help when Chase suffered another setback.

Adam was deemed to be a viable kidney donor for Faith. Before the surgery, Faith thanked Adam, but he preferred to think of his donation as an apology for the pain he'd caused her. Faith's transplant surgery was a success. To avoid Victor taking Connor from her, Chelsea staged a breakdown and confessed to poisoning Rey and setting Adam up. In return, Victor paid off a doctor to diagnose Chelsea with a condition that would allow her get treatment in a psychiatric facility and avoid prison. Rey was taken aback when Chelsea also claimed that Adam and Sharon had been having an affair. Nick urged Adam to stay in town and prove that he was committed to being a better man. After a haunting, chess-themed dream, Adam decided to make amends and start over. Adam pledged to help Sharon and Rey find their way back to one another. Adam also vowed to use Cyaxares to crush Billy and ChanceComm. Nick was wary of Faith's growing friendship with Moses. Sally overheard Jack and Phyllis planning to throw Summer and Kyle an engagement party. Kyle warned Sally to stay away from the party. As Jack toasted to the happy couple at the party, Tara appeared with her son, Harrison. Amanda was suspicious of Imani's offer to help her with Sutton's case. Lola told Rey she was temporarily leaving town to serve as a guest chef for a restaurant chain in Miami.
