Finn sided with Steffy after he walked in on another confrontation between her and Sheila. On Keith's advice, Sheila text-messaged her feelings to Finn. Finn confessed to Hope that he still desired to get to know his birth mother. Justin busted Carter and Quinn, and they told Justin the truth about their arrangement due to Eric's ED. Justin conveyed only half the information to Ridge and Brooke before they rushed off to confront Carter and Quinn. Ridge didn't believe Quinn's ED story, but even after Eric confirmed it, Ridge accused Quinn of taking advantage of Eric. Eric confessed that he'd orchestrated the whole thing to stave off his loneliness.

Gwen begged Justin for help on Xander's case, and she called Xander her boyfriend. Jack told Abigail about Snyder's blackmail. John passed on investing in Johnny's movie. Johnny asked Abigail to play Marlena in his movie. Kate admitted to Philip that she was interested in Roman but scared to date again. Allie told Chanel about her inability to tell Tripp that she loved him. Johnny wooed Chanel. Doug attempted to tell Eli about devil Marlena but was unsuccessful. Marlena dreamed about her possession after John's prayer forced the devil out. Marlena listened to the recording of her session with Doug, and the devil offered her another deal. Devil Marlena knocked Julie unconscious.

Liesl was shocked to discover that Victor and Peter were in cahoots. Liesl was shipped off to Victor's secret prison, where she had an encounter with Drew. Drew and Liesl formed an alliance. Valentin and Anna paid Chloe a visit in Crete, but Chloe had been admitted to the hospital and sedated. Chloe's doctor reported back to Victor. Bolstered by liquid courage, Valentin told Anna how he felt about her, and she, in return, admitted that she was drawn to him. Valentin and Anna shared a kiss. Sonny blasted Nina for lying to him. A furious Carly confronted Nina about keeping Sonny from his family for nine months, but Nina pushed back because Carly had not been without blame. Nikolas realized that Ava's solution to end their marriage and move to London was their best option until the stalker was caught. Josslyn, Trina, and Cameron set a trap for Spencer and Esme by claiming that Nikolas and Ava had planned to run off to Bora Bora. Esme lied to Sonny by claiming that she had overheard Nikolas and Ava plotting to spirit Avery away. Trina and Cameron were forced to admit the truth when Sonny nearly had Nikolas dragged away. Spencer confessed the truth about his role in Ava's stalking. Alexis and Shawn realized there was a link between the investigation into Hayden Barnes's disappearance and Sam's search for Drew. Ned confided to Brook Lynn that Austin suspected that Leo might be on the autism spectrum.

Billy was dismayed to find out that Gaines had suddenly checked out of the Grand Phoenix. Victor informed Ashland that he'd paid Gaines off to protect Ashland's secret and keep Victoria happy. Victoria claimed everything was fine, but she became increasingly suspicious of Ashland's cagey behavior. Victoria was unimpressed with her wedding dress. Sally arranged to have her design for Victoria's dress made as quickly as possible. Adam was surprised to receive a wedding invitation from Victoria and agreed to attend in an effort to mend fences. Nick returned from his investigative mission in New Jersey and revealed Ashland's true identity to be Bobby DeFranco, who'd supposedly died in a car crash in his teens. Ashland explained that the real Ashland Locke had been a close friend, and he'd been unable to save his friend after they'd been in the crash together. Ashland alleged that he'd switched identities with his friend to escape from his abusive father. Victoria disinvited Nick from her wedding, while Nikki told Billy he wasn't welcome in Italy. Ashland offered to give Victoria space, but she tracked him down as he was about to move into the Grand Phoenix. Mariah was livid when she found out Tessa had turned to Sharon with her concerns about Mariah wanting to start a family. Mariah hid her devastation when Tessa remained adamant that they wait to have a child. Devon happily spent some time alone with Dominic. Amanda moved in with Devon. Faith and Moses enjoyed a romantic date.
