Baldoni has talked about the Baháʼí Faith in many interviews and continues to follow the religion. He recorded a podcast episode for Man Enough with his father, Sam Baldoni, in August 2021. In an interview in 2021, Baldoni shared, “If I could have selected two people to be my parents, I would go back in time and choose them. I don’t think a lot of people can say that. My parents are amazing.”

Justin Baldoni has a younger sister, Sara Baldoni, and he has shared about her on his Instagram. Justin Baldoni and his wife Emily Baldoni started dating in 2011 and they made their relationship public in 2013 when Baldoni proposed to Emily. His 25-minute proposal video went viral on the internet, and he proposed to her in the same café where they went on their first date in 2011. The couple got married in July 2013 in Corona, California. In his first anniversary post on Instagram in 2014, he wrote, “We chose someone who is on a lifelong search for growth, who never stops being curious, who stays accountable, and who never, ever gives up. Emily Baldoni is a Swedish actress, born on August 3, 1984, in Uppsala, Sweden. She started her acting career with the 2005 short film The Elephant’s Room. She has been part of many films like Grizzly Park (2008), Ghosts of Girlfriends Past (2009), Identical (2011), Coherence (2013), Five Feet Apart (2019), It Ends with Us (2024), etc. She has also worked in many TV shows like CSI: NY (2007), How I Met Your Mother (2008), CSI: Miami (2009), Jane the Virgin (2015, 2019), etc.

Justin and Emily Baldoni have 2 children together. They announced their pregnancy in February in 2015 and welcomed their 1st child, a daughter named Maiya Baldoni, in June, 2015. Two years later, Baldoni became a father for the second time when Emily gave birth to a baby boy named Maxwell in October 2017.
