Based on the Alien franchise, Alien: Earth is an upcoming science fiction horror television series, directed and written by Noah Hawley. The show will be a prequel, taking place two years before the events of the 1979 movie Alien.


Sydney Chandler, Essie Davis, Adarsh Gourav, Samuel Blenkin, and Alex Lawther are among its cast members. The show, which was co-produced by 20th Television and Scott Free Productions, will debut in 2025 on FX on Hulu in the US and on Disney+ globally through the Star hub.

The American actress Sydney Chandler portrays Wendy, a woman who has the body of an adult and the consciousness of a child, in the series.


Sydney began her career in 2019 in the television series SKAM Austin, in which she was cast as Eve Olsen in a recurring role. In 2022, she made her film debut in the American psychological thriller film Don’t Worry Darling.

The American actor Timothy Olyphant portrays Krish, Wendy's synth mentor and trainer, in the series.


Timothy Olyphant made his acting debut in The Monogamist, an off-Broadway play in 1995. For his performance, he won the Theatre World Award. His performance in HBO's western Deadwood (2004–2006) as Sheriff Seth Bullock gave him a wider audience, and he later reprised the character in Deadwood: The Movie (2019).


Alex Lawther as CJ

The English actor and director Alex Lawther plays CJ, a soldier, in the series.


Alexander Lawther is an English actor who made his professional acting debut originating the role of John Blakemore in Sir David Hare's South Downs in the West End. He earned the London Film Critics' Circle Award for "Young British Performer of the Year" and was named one of BAFTA's 2015 Breakthrough Brits for his role as a young Alan Turing in the Academy Award-winning movie The Imitation Game (2014), which marked his feature film debut.

The British actor and director Samuel Blenkin portrays Boy Kavalier, a CEO, in the series.


Samuel Blenkin rose to fame as Scorpius Malfoy in the West End adaptation of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child from 2017 to 2018. He has since starred in television shows such as Black Mirror (2023), Atlanta (2022), and Peaky Blinders (2019).

The Australian actress and singer Essie Davis portrays Dame Silvia, in the series.


Esther "Essie" Davis's most notable roles are those of Amelia Vanek in The Babadook and Phryne Fisher in Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries and its movie adaptation, Miss Fisher & the Crypt of Tears. Other notable roles include Ellen Kelly in Justin Kurzel's True History of the Kelly Gang, Sister Iphigenia in Lambs of God, and a recurring role as Lady Crane in season six of the television series Game of Thrones.

The Indian actor Adarsh Gourav portrays Slightly, in the series.


Indian actor Adarsh Gourav Bhagavatula is well-known for his roles in television shows and movies in both Hindi and English. In 2010, Gourav made his acting debut in the drama My Name Is Khan. He became well-known throughout the world for his role as chauffeur Balram Halwai in the satirical movie The White Tiger (2021), for which he received nominations for both the Independent Spirit Award for Best Male Lead and the BAFTA Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role.

The British actor Kit Young portrays Tootles in the series.


Christopher William Young, better known as Kit Young, is a British actor. He portrayed Jesper Fahey on TV in the fantasy series Shadow and Bone (2021–2023) on Netflix. He appeared in the horror movie Out of Darkness (2022), for which he received a Scottish BAFTA.
