Batista tells Bishop about Dexter and his son, Harrison, something that triggers Bishop and makes her suspicious of her boyfriend, eventually leading to her discovering who “Jim Lindsay” really is.
In the series finale of the show, Bishop contacts Batista, sends him a photo of her and Morgan together, which was dated a month prior, and that’s when Batista realizes that Dexter is alive. He leaves to go to Iron Lake, but his arrival in the town is never shown as the show ends before that.
