Loren Bouchard developed the American animated series Bob's Burgers for the Fox Broadcasting Company. The Belcher family, including parents Bob and Linda, and their three kids, Tina, Gene, and Louise, run a burger joint and frequently embark on various adventures.

After he created Home Movies, Bouchard came up with the idea for the series. The show debuted on January 9, 2011. Wilo Productions, Buck & Millie Productions, and 20th Television Animation are the producers of Bob's Burgers. Bento Box Entertainment does the animation for the series.

What is Bob’s Burgers about?

The Belcher family, a lower-class blue-collar family made up of Bob Belcher, his wife Linda, and their three kids Tina, Gene, and Louise, is the main subject of Bob's Burgers. In the fictitious seaside town of Seymour's Bay, New Jersey, the Belchers own and operate the hamburger joint of the same name.

Located on Ocean Avenue, the restaurant is housed in a neon-green, two-story structure that is surrounded by two other business buildings. Although the opening credits show a new business using the area in each episode, the building to the right of the restaurant is usually empty.

The three Belcher children attend Principal Spoors' Wagstaff School and work part-time in the restaurant. Every child presents a distinctive relationship with one another: Tina participates as she pleases, while Gene and Louise typically play around with one another.

Though some episodes show the family outside of their customary restaurant environment, most episodes center on their adventures managing the establishment and dealing with the weird locals. Numerous episodes feature musical numbers, either as diegetic music, during the episode's end credits, or in fantasy scenes.
