What happens in the series Physical: 100?

The competition is set up like a tournament, with 100 competitors, each known for their well-developed physique and physical attributes, competing against one another in many kinds of individual and team challenges, or "quests" of strength, balance, agility, endurance, willpower, and strategy.

Participants are eliminated after each quest until just one person is left to earn the ₩300 million (US$240,000) reward. On the set, each competitor has a plaster cast of their body, which they have to smash with a sledgehammer after being eliminated.

The show has frequently been likened to Squid Game, a 2021 South Korean survival drama television series, due to the fact that both shows are set in the same country and include a large-scale competition-elimination format with complex tasks.
