Louis de Leon was introduced in the 3rd season of the show. He is the father of Nicolas de Leon and the CEO of a successful conglomerate, JVMA. He is a powerful and wealthy man, well-connected in the fashion business. In Season 3, Sylvie’s company’s client Gregory Dupree is taking over the label Pierre Cadualt and they are partnered with Nicolas de Leon for this. So, Sylvie meets with Louis de Leon for a smooth transition. Sylvie worked with Louis de Leon at JVMA as an assistant, and he took advantage of her when she was younger. She is aware of his intentions, but he tells her that he is a changed man now.

Louis de Leon didn’t approve of his son’s relationship with Mindy Chen, as she is not up to their status, according to him. In Season 4, during the French Open, he comments on her dress which leads to an argument between Nicolas and Mindy. Soon, things get intense for Louis de Leon as he gets involved in a scandal where he is accused of sexually harassing his female employees. Sylvie decided to not say anything related to the scandal as she was worried JVMA would pull their investment from her husband’s club.

At first, she avoids the reporters who were approaching her for the expose on Louis de Leon, but then she comes to the conclusion that Louis de Leon should be called out for his actions and it should stop. She came forward and talked to the reporters about the truth about how Louis de Leon abused his power to sexually harass his female staff. After the scandal, he was asked to quit JVMA.
