Why is Season 5 of Stranger Things delayed?
It was originally planned for Stranger Things 5 to start filming in May 2023. But the Writers Guild of America formally went on strike in the first week of May. Production was stopped for more than 140 days on both ends when the Screen Actors Guild union went on strike a few weeks later.
