What is Amy’s personality like in The Big Bang Theory?

Amy’s initial appearance in the series is as an oddly rational person who shows very little emotion and appears awkward in various social situations. As the series goes on, we see Amy having quite a special relationship with the character of Penny in the series. The character grows very attached to Penny, even calling her “bestie” on multiple occasions. With being friends with Penny and later Bernadette, there is a major development in Amy’s character as she is seen as quite open and fun as the show progresses.

Among her various habits, Amy is seen to have quite a narcissistic side to her which could be both scary and funny to view. A glimpse of the same was shown when the character was to be the maid of honor at Howard and Bernadette’s wedding.
