Bill told Steffy that the jet and yacht awaited them, but Steffy told Bill that she had just renewed her wedding vows. Bill tried to talk her out of her marriage to Liam, but, determined to keep her marriage, Steffy swore Bill to secrecy about what they'd done. Liam went to Bill to ask for healing in the family, and the father and son agreed to forgive and move forward. The Forresters invited the Spencers, Spectras, Avants, and Logans to the mansion to celebrate their thankfulness for each other.

Hope was furious with Rafe for helping Sami and leaving Hope to deal with Theo's shooting. J.J. was haunted by guilt. Abe refused to leave Theo's side. Lani told Eli she was conflicted about J.J. because Abe was angry, but she saw J.J.'s point of view. Eli questioned Lani about the night of the shooting. J.J. visited Theo's room when Abe was in the cafeteria, and he apologized for shooting him. Abe rushed in and ordered J.J. to leave. In Memphis, Adrienne and Justin made love. At the police station, John masterminded a plan to use Roger to confront Susan. At the bar, Sonny and Paul argued about Paul's lie. Later, Will, Sonny, Paul, Sami, John, Marlena, and Roger confronted Susan, and Roger told Will all he knew about Will's death and resurrection. Marlena admitted Susan to a psychiatric hospital, and Roger urged Will to leave town so that Susan could recover. Susan's sister Kristen was not only alive but might be hiding an alive E.J. Will returned to Salem with the group, and Abigail and Chad visited him at the penthouse. Sami invited Will to Thanksgiving, but Will declined. Marlena asked Sami to give Will space. Gabi visited Will with Arianna and assured him that they would love him whether he remembered anything or not.

Friends and family gathered to celebrate Thanksgiving. Anna had a surprise visit from Robin and Noah. Robin met Patient 6 on the footbridge and had a heart-to-heart talk with him. Jason was hurt when Robin told him that she believed that Patient 6 was Jason Morgan. Jason found himself at the Quartermaine mansion, pouring his heart out to Monica. Monica assured Jason that he was her son, regardless of what Diane's search yielded. Patient 6 told Sam that he was willing to step back and let her husband remain Jason Morgan if it made her life easier, but she told him to stay and keep pushing for answers. Sonny and Carly met Oscar's mother, Kim. Kim recognized Patient 6 as Drew. Quinn confronted Nathan and Amy about their deception and demanded that Amy make a full confession online, clearing the publishing house of wrongdoing. Fans embraced Amy and Nathan's deception when Chet revealed why they had lied about Man Landers. Maxie took a home pregnancy test. Nathan was delighted when Maxie told him that she was pregnant. Olivia Jerome issued a statement that exonerated Julian of the crimes that he'd been charged with. Ava hoped to persuade a shady doctor to finish Klein's work. Cassandra confided to Valentin that she intended to traffic an opioid formula that was more powerful and addictive than what was on the market.

Ravi showed up at the Abbott mansion for Thanksgiving dinner and was embarrassed when he learned that Ashley hadn't meant to invite him. Jack and Ashley informed the rest of the Abbott clan about Dina's diagnosis. Nikki and Nick showed up unexpectedly at the Newman ranch on Thanksgiving. Abby stormed out of the Newman family dinner after she heard Victoria insulting her. Jack announced that he was going to take a leave of absence to care for Dina. Phyllis admitted that she was still in love with Billy. Phyllis, Nick, and Chelsea accepted Billy's impromptu invitation to spend the weekend in New Orleans.
