Zende suggested that he and Paris slow things down so that they didn't ruin a good thing at work and in their personal lives. Quinn showed up at Forrester, despite Eric's rule that she stay off the premises, to personally drop off jewelry and tell Eric how his past treatment of her had led her to cheat on him. Eric felt responsible for hurting Quinn by valuing Brooke more, but Brooke asked a vulnerable Eric to steer clear of Quinn until the divorce was final. Quinn told Carter that she'd been thinking of Eric, and Carter said it wasn't too late to try to get Eric back. Finn's father arrived in town, and he and Finn told Steffy that Finn was adopted. Introspectively, Jack Finnegan wondered if he should tell Steffy and Finn something else.

Finn told Anna about his final confrontation with Peter but left Liz's name out of the tale. Finn took Anna to the freezer in the hospital's basement, but it was empty. Anna covered for Peter when the police arrived to search for Peter. Liz confided to Jason that Peter was dead, and she asked for Jason's help getting rid of the body. Jason agreed, but he found an empty freezer when he went to retrieve Peter's body. Anna filled Valentin in on what she had uncovered about Peter's fate. In Nixon Falls, Nina enjoyed a bittersweet reunion with "Mike," Phyllis, and Lenny. Monica surprised Terry and Britt by announcing that both doctors would be co-chiefs of staff. Shawn enlisted Sam's help to get to the bottom of Hayden's shooting and disappearance. After Jordan signed the divorce papers and sealed them in an envelope, Stella covertly snatched the envelope from Jordan's desk. Portia told Trina about her new relationship with Curtis, but Curtis urged Portia to fill Trina in about their romantic past. Josslyn and Spencer continued to lock horns. Nikolas learned that Ryan was locked up in the same facility with Alexis. Carly walked in on a close moment between Michael and Willow. Austin saw Chase stand up then take a step. Gladys blamed Sasha when Brando announced that it was time for Gladys to move out -- and get a job.

After Victoria declared her love for Ashland, he decided to seek medical treatment. At Sharon's recommendation, Ashland and Tara together talked with Harrison about Ashland's illness. Kyle refused to believe Phyllis' allegations that Sally and Tara had forced Summer to leave town. Jack gave Sally another chance. Phyllis swiped Sally's cell phone and sent a text message to Tara, saying that Phyllis was onto them. Phyllis caught Sally and Tara's panicked reaction on hotel surveillance video and sent it to Kyle and Jack. Sally lied when Jack confronted her about the video, and he ended things for good. Kyle overheard Tara on the phone with Sally, but Tara managed to cover. Jack became suspicious of Tara. After brainstorming with Amanda, Phyllis called Angelina Marchetti and was stunned to find out that Eric Forrester had recommended Summer for the job in Italy. Nick overheard Phyllis telling Angelina that she was on her way to L.A. Summer admitted to Nikki that she wasn't happy in Italy yet, but she hoped to get there. Nate celebrated his appointment as Memorial's chief of surgery with Elena. Devon and Amanda professed their love. Mariah begged her unseen captor for her freedom. Chloe started her job at Newman Media. Chelsea resolved to let go of her anger toward Adam. Rey and Connor returned home. Sharon tried to convince herself that she wanted a good man like Rey, but she remained preoccupied with thoughts of Adam.
