Robert Timothy Bogue: A Brief Biography

At A Glance

The youngest of three boys, Bogue was born in Minden, Nebraska. Bogue grew up Hays, Kansas and Richmond, Kentucky before graduating from Colorado College with academic honors in International Political Economics. In college, Bogue played basketball, setting the single season scoring record his senior year.

Bogue has made several television appearances on hit series including Sex and the City, The Sopranos, Ed, Law & Order: SVU, The Education of Max Bickford and Third Watch. He also played the recurring role of Jason Cramer on Oz. He recently finished shooting the independent films Frost and The Dissection of Thanksgiving. Bogue also co-wrote, co-produced and appeared in the feature film Backseat, which received the Audience Award at the 2005 Austin Film Festival and will be released in theaters in the spring of 2008.

On stage, Bogue has appeared on Broadway in Three Sisters and in the Olivier Award winning production of Burning Blue in London's West End. Bogue is also one of the original co-founding members of the New Group Theater Company. In 2007, Bogue and co-star Gina Tognoni participated in The 33rd Annual People's Choice Awards.

A native of Kentucky, Bogue now splits time between homes in New York and Pennsylvania and is the proud father of two children, Zebulon, age 5 and Zoe, age 3. In his spare time, he enjoys traditional tae-kwon-do and holds a third-degree black belt.

His birthday is August 27.
