It was his role as Spike that also lead to his breakout film performance as Rapunzel’s Prince in Rob Marshall’s 2014 musical comedy “Into the Woods.” His on-screen career includes roles in major films such as “The Big Short (2015),” and Disney’s live-action adaptation “Aladdin (2019),” to television series including “The Leftovers (2014),” and “American Crime Story (2016).” Beyond acting, Magnussen is also a guitarist in the indie-rock band “Reserved for Rondee.”
