How does Kimberly die in Final Destination?

In Final Destination 2, Kimberly Corman is introduced as an ordinary young woman who goes on a road trip with her friends. But things take a scary turn when she suddenly sees a clear vision of a huge highway crash caused by logs falling from a truck. When she realizes that the accident is about to happen, she quickly blocks the road with her car, stopping some people from getting on the freeway and saving their lives.

However, in the Final Destination franchise, death is inevitable. Throughout the film, Kimberly tries to break the deadly chain by learning that “new life” might stop it. To do this, she drives into a lake and drowns on purpose, hoping that being revived will count. The plan works as she is pulled from the water and revived with the help of a defibrillator. In the end, both Kimberly and Officer Burke survive.

A. J. Cook plays the role of Kimberly in Final Destination. She is a Canadian actress, born on July 22, 1978, in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada. She began dancing at the age of 4 and competed in jazz, tap, and ballet before transitioning to acting. Cook developed an interest in acting from a young age and started her career with a McDonald's ad in 1997. She made her TV debut with a minor appearance in the show Goosebumps in 1997. In the same year, she made her film debut with the film Laserhawk.

She started her acting career with minor appearances in TV films and shows like Elvis Meets Nixon, In His Father's Shoes, and Psi Factor. She is best known for her role as Jennifer Jareau in the hit show Criminal Minds (2005–2020, 2022–present).
