
Titus B. Welliver (born March 12, 1962) is an American actor best known for his roles in film and television. The now-63-year-old began his television acting career in 1990, with small roles on Beverly Hills, 90210, LA Law, The X-Files, and other shows. However, he never really broke out, instead gradually building his reputation over time with recurring roles on NYPD Blue, Prison Break, Lost, Touched by an Angel, and other shows after his debut.
He also starred in several feature films, including The Doors, Mobsters, Navy SEALs, and others, before gradually rising through the ranks. So much so that he landed roles in director Ben Affleck's first four films, including Gone Baby Gone, Argo, and The Town. In addition, Welliver has narrated a number of audiobooks throughout his career.

Not only that, but Welliver also taught at Cooper Union and Yale before he started teaching, and eventually became chairman, at the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Fine Arts.
