Lamar Johnson plays the role of Henry in the show. He is a Canadian actor and dancer, born on July 18, 1994, in Toronto, Ontario. He started his career as a dancer before transitioning into acting. He made his acting debut with a minor appearance in the TV show Covert Affairs in 2011. He made his film debut with the film Home Again in 2012. He got his breakthrough with the role of West in the TV show The Next Step (2013–2019).

He gained popularity for his role as Seven Carter in the film The Hate U Give in 2018. In 2023, he played the role of Henry Burrell in the TV show The Last of Us for which he received a Primetime Emmy nomination.
