Arcane is a popular animated show that premiered on November 6, 2021, on Netflix. It is based on one of the most popular games in the world, League of Legends. The show became popular because of its engaging story, high-quality visuals, and memorable characters. Who is Isha in Arcane?

Isha’s character was introduced in the 2nd and final season of the show. She is an original character in Arcane, as she is not a League of Legends character. She is an orphan and mute young girl from Zaun. She was surviving alone in the chaos of Zaun and met Jinx when she was running away from goons. Jinx saves her from the attackers by shooting them. After the incident, Isha followed Jinx around because of the respect and admiration she had for her. She considered Jinx as her idol.

With time, they developed a sibling bond, and Jinx considered Isha as her little sister. She is a quiet and reserved girl who never talks to anyone in the show, but the reason behind her mutism is not revealed. She communicated through gestures, sign language, and small voices. Isha reminded Jinx of her childhood, and since Isha idolized her, she started dressing like her and even dyed her hair blue to match Jinx. With episodes, she became more courageous and tough in the company of Jinx.

Does Isha die in Arcane?

Yes, Isha dies in Season 2, episode 6, titled ‘The Message Hidden Within the Pattern.’ In the episode, Isha, Jinx, Vi, and Caitlyn are caught in a huge battle between Ambessa's forces and an uncontrollable Vander. Jinx tries to control Vander and stop him from causing destruction, but he is unstoppable and pushes her away, injuring her badly. Isha was scared watching Jinx get hurt and saw the destruction from a distance.

To stop Jinx from getting hurt more, she makes a courageous move to save her and stop the destruction herself. She runs towards Vander, takes one of the guns, and loads it with multiple Hextech crystals. She stands underneath Vander and shoots, creating an explosion. It is assumed that Isha died in the explosion. Jinx tried to stop her and ran toward Isha, but it was too late. Jinx was deeply affected by Isha’s sacrifice for her. Isha’s tragic end was one of the most heartbreaking scenes in the show for the audience.
