For this role, she received worldwide recognition and won the Critics' Choice Television Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series twice. She also received several nominations for awards like Primetime Emmy Awards, Screen Actors Guild Awards, and Critics' Choice Television Awards.


She started her career as a child actress in the 1980s. Her first acting role was in the horror film, Pumpkinhead released in 1988. As a child actress, she appeared in shows like Webster (1988), MacGyver (1988), Molloy (1990), Blossom (1990-1995), etc. Apart from The Big Bang Theory, she appeared in several projects like The Flight Before Christmas (2015), MasterChef Junior (2017), Star vs. the Forces of Evil (2016), Drop the Mic (2017), Call Me Kat (2021-2023), and Young Sheldon (2020-2024). She hosted many shows like Celebrity Show-Off (2020) and Jeopardy! (2021-2023).


Just like her character in The Big Bang Theory, Mayim Bialik also has a PhD in Neuroscience. She married Michael Stone in 2003 and the couple have two sons together. They got divorced in 2013. She is dating Jonathan Cohen, who is a writer and producer. They host a podcast together.
