Bill ordered Justin to stage a romantic scene in Bill's office, and Bill set Wyatt up to witness Bill and Steffy embracing. After Wyatt saw the embrace, he discovered the romantic setting in Bill's office. Wyatt told Liam that Bill and Steffy were still seeing each other behind Liam's back. Liam had decided to recommit to Steffy, but once he heard what Wyatt believed had gone on at the office, Liam confronted Steffy about it. Steffy denied that anything had happened. Liam ended their marriage and proposed to Hope. Bill asked Steffy to stop being second to Hope and instead choose a life of being first with Bill.

Leo continued with the plan to seduce Sonny. Vivian told Kate that Andre had helped her sabotage the company. Dr. Laura told Gabby that she had cut off the air supply to the room in the DiMera tunnels, so Gabby made an immunity deal with the D.A. in exchange for information about where to find Vivian, Kate, and Marlena. John, Paul, and Hope rescued the three women in the tunnel but had to perform CPR breathing to revive them. Marlena told the police that Gabby had dissociative identity disorder. Brady recuperated in the hospital after being drugged, and Eve was hesitant to forgive him. Abigail confronted Ben in her mind then retook control of her body when she heard Chad's voice. Claire told Eve that she had rigged the contest. Ciara promised Claire that she would push a story about a technical glitch rather than publicly expose Claire as a cheat. Chloe woke up in Mexico City and was greeted by another prisoner: Theresa.

Anna told Jason that she wanted to "pose" as Henrik's mother to lure Henrik out of hiding. Valentin made arrangements to draw Robert Scorpio out of town. Nina found the scrapbook filled with memorabilia of Nathan that Peter had hidden. Peter claimed that it was supposed to be a surprise for Nina and Maxie. Maxie was not pleased when she learned that Henrik had set up an organization in Nathan's name to benefit the families of fallen police officers. Maxie was touched when Chet Driscoll talked about the profound impact that Nathan had had on Chet's life and sobriety. Drew and Sam agreed to end their marriage. Ava was pleased when she persuaded Sonny to agree to joint custody of Avery, but Griffin objected to Ava's methods because she had bargained with Mike's freedom. Carly was stunned when Nelle followed through with her offer to grant Sonny and Carly legal guardianship of the baby if anything should happen to Nelle and Michael. Carly warned Sonny that Nelle was working an angle that they hadn't figured out yet. Chase attempted to reconcile with his brother, but Finn wanted no part of it because it meant inviting their father back into his life. Franco reached out to one of Jim Harvey's victims. Lulu lied to Dante.

Victor pushed himself toward recovery, and despite a fall, he made progress. Nikki and Victor agreed to stop seeing other people. Hilary confided to Phyllis that she wasn't really pregnant, and Phyllis suggested that Hilary use Devon's sperm sample to inseminate herself. Hilary struggled with guilt when Devon showed up at what he thought was a routine doctor's appointment to offer his support. Paul learned that J.T.'s cell phone had been near Victoria's house after J.T. had returned from Hawaii. Paul quizzed Victoria, Sharon, Phyllis, and Nikki about the night J.T. disappeared, and the women later worried about the discrepancies in their stories. Sharon started to unravel from carrying the secret of J.T.'s demise, and Victoria prepared to confess to killing J.T. Phyllis and Nikki were surprised when Sharon resolved to deal with it and delivered an inspiring speech about how they had to stick together. Phyllis whisked Victoria off to a conference to give her time to recover privately. Nick battled his attraction to Sharon. Nick went on live television to ask for the public's help in finding J.T., and it prompted Mariah to recall hearing a man's voice during the girls' night. Nick demanded to know whether Sharon knew J.T.'s whereabouts. Kyle appealed to Billy to join forces to do away with the blood Abbott clause at Jabot, but Jack refused to reverse it. Kyle struck a deal with Victor to provide damaging information about Jack in exchange for a top position at Newman.
