What happened the week of September 9, 2019: Shauna climbed into bed with a drunken Ridge

Detective Sanchez informed Ridge that the police had closed the Emma Barber case, and if Flo's victims didn't contest it, the State wanted to release Flo Fulton in an immunity agreement for her cooperation with another case. Ridge agreed, for Thomas' sake, not to contest it. Brooke was livid about Ridge's decision, and an argument between the couple led to Ridge drinking too much at a bar. Shauna helped him to a room upstairs at the bar and cuddled with him in his sleep. Steffy confronted Flo and Thomas for what they'd done to her family.

Brady stopped Victor from strangling Ben, and Ben kept it a secret from Ciara. Ciara accepted Brady's job offer. Brady, Eric, and Nicole mended fences. Nicole confronted Kristen. Kate clawed her way out of her grave, and stumbled to the hospital. Stefan asked Gabi to cover for his mother with the police, and she did. Kayla agreed to set up a lab for Rolf, but Eve destroyed the new batch of serum Rolf produced. Lani told Rafe that Gabi had left Julie to die, and Gabi told Rafe that she had thought Julie had faked her heart attack. Eric told Nicole about Sarah. Xander learned that Sarah was pregnant. Xander told Maggie that Victor had ordered him to strangle Ben. Sarah chickened out of telling Eric about her pregnancy. Xander promised Nicole that he would sign divorce papers. Eve asked Vivian for a job. Brady barely resisted sleeping with Kristen.

Carly admitted to Sonny that she wasn't prepared to adopt Dev. Dev overheard Sonny and Carly make plans for his future. Josslyn struggled on her first day of school. Brad confessed to Julian that Liesl Obrecht had delivered Wiley, leading Julian to realize that Brad had gotten the baby from Nelle. Brad insisted that Julian had to kill Liesl before Sonny discovered the truth about Wiley, but Julian was unable to go through with the plan. Julian paid Alexis a visit to say goodbye. Liesl agreed to keep Sasha's secret for Nina's sake, but Liesl advised Sasha against accepting Lucy's offer to be the new "Face of Deception" because it would invite unwanted scrutiny. Monica was shaken when Jason broke the news that Drew's plane had crashed into the Gulf of Aden, and Drew was presumed killed. Liz warned Kim not to mistake Franco for Drew because they intended to find a way to undo the memory transfer. Franco was encouraged when Kim referred to him as "Drew" while defending him to Chase. Jax and Maxie persuaded broadcaster Tamron Hall to be on the cover of Crimson's October issue. Things heated up between Lulu and Dustin. Curtis agreed to help Jax and Hayden. Curtis asked Laura to help him find a document that Helena had hidden.

Abby and Chelsea excitedly prepared for the Grand Phoenix opening. Zoe slipped "Molly" into the pitchers of sangria at the party. Those who consumed the sangria lost their inhibitions, while the sober guests wondered what was going on. Sharon kissed Rey before passing out from an interaction with her medication. Lola witnessed Summer kissing Kyle. Devon experienced a panic attack, and Elena helped him through it. The security footage went missing, and Abby and Chelsea grappled with how to handle the bad publicity. Phyllis tricked Zoe into admitting to the drugging on tape. Phyllis revealed that she also had the security footage of Zoe drugging the drinks and blackmailed Abby and Chelsea into handing over a 25 percent stake in the hotel in exchange for the evidence against Zoe. Zoe was arrested. Devon and Elena pledged their love. Sharon left on a road trip to do some soul-searching. Theo made a pass at Tessa, who rebuffed him. Victor's symptoms became more severe after Adam switched his father's pills with a double dose. Chloe realized that Billy was acting like two different people and told Victoria the truth about his behavior and his whereabouts. Nikki summoned the Newmans to the ranch with concerns about Victor. Victor announced his plans to go overseas for treatment and requested that his family unite in his absence. Victor collapsed, and his family panicked when Nate was unable to find a pulse.
