Flo urged Wyatt to spend time with Sally and Thomas asked Zoe to marry him

Douglas' anxiety about Zoe replacing Hope in his life grew. He implored his father to tell Hope that he loved her, but Thomas convinced Douglas that he was the best messenger for the job. Thomas invited his family to a special dinner for Zoe, and they were stunned when he asked Zoe to marry him. Eric and Ridge suspected that the engagement was a ploy to sway Hope's feelings about Thomas. Fearing that he'd lose Hope, Douglas implored Hope to marry Thomas instead. Flo assured Wyatt that she'd support him spending time with Sally and making her final days easier.

Lani told everyone at the wedding what Gabi had done, and Gabi attempted to shock Julie's heart in retaliation. Julie faked a heart episode. J.J. explained that he had intervened with Julie's doctor to replace her pacemaker, and he had told Julie before the wedding about Gabi's phone app. Rafe arrested Gabi. Bill passed away, and Doug reminisced about his 50 years in Salem after he'd met Bill. Will lied to Sonny about why he had not filed the divorce papers. Stefano revealed his identity to Kayla. Eli asked Lani for time to think. Rafe and Justin discovered that Stefano had kidnapped Kayla. Kate and Gabi commiserated about their legal predicaments. Roman told Hattie that he was interested in her. Ben turned himself in to the police. The D.A. offered Gabi a plea deal. Brady grew suspicious of Victor's push to test Tate. The hospital found a match for Mackenzie. Victor interrupted Will's confession to Maggie about the accident.

Peter was selective with the truth when Anna questioned him. Valentin bought Nelle's shares of ELQ. Trina persuaded Cameron to attend the Midwinter Formal with her as a friend, so Josslyn would see Cameron in a different light when the girls at their school went "gaga" over him. Trina shared a happy reunion with her father -- Taggert! Curtis confronted Jordan about her relationship with Taggert, and he questioned if she was Trina's mother. Jordan told Curtis the truth about her history with Cyrus Renault. Cyrus let Jordan know that he was in Port Charles for her. Sonny and Jason made a move against Cyrus. Lucas recalled Brad's shocking confession about Wiley on the night of the accident. Michael was stunned when Lucas revealed that Wiley was Jonah. Nelle knocked Willow out then attempted to abduct Wiley, but Michael and Chase arrived in time to rescue Wiley from Nelle's clutches. Nelle and Brad were arrested. Nelle put all the blame on Brad by claiming that he had taken advantage of her when she had been fading in and out of consciousness. Brad kept quiet about Julian having learned the truth about Wiley. Chase broke the heartbreaking news to Willow that her son had died of sudden infant death syndrome.

A gala celebrating Victor Newman turned tragic when Victoria was stabbed

Phyllis blackmailed Chelsea out of her shares of the Grand Phoenix by threatening to reveal Adam's secret. Abby vowed to find a way out of her equal partnership with Phyllis. Phyllis implied to Chance that she intended to take over the entire hotel, but Abby refused to sell her stake. Nikki offered words of support when Sharon revealed that she had breast cancer. Noah, Matt, and Julia returned to town for the Newman Enterprises 50th anniversary celebration. Victor reflected back on his life as his friends and family made touching speeches at the gala. Nikki unveiled an art collection centered around Victor that Noah had put together. Phyllis kissed Nick. Adam proposed to Chelsea, who happily accepted. Someone watched Amanda as she followed a drunken Billy, who intended to crash the Newman party. Ripley later seethed as he eyed Billy and Amanda at the gala together. In the dim art gallery, Ripley stabbed Victoria, who was wearing an outfit similar to Amanda's. Amanda ran into Ripley as he left the party and reeled when she realized he'd intended to kill her. Victoria was rushed to the hospital with liver and lung damage, underwent surgery, and was placed in a medically induced coma. Billy and Phyllis lent Amanda their support. Summer and Kyle went public with their reunion. Lola decided to open a restaurant in Miami, though she'd divide her time between there and Society.
