Thomas told Hope that Vinny had altered the paternity tests. Hope gave Liam the news but asked Liam if he'd told Steffy that he loved her when they'd slept together. When Ridge heard what Vinny had done, he called Lt. Baker, who took Vinny into custody. Ridge was miffed when Brooke questioned Thomas about his feelings for Hope. Finn informed Steffy that he was her baby's father, and Steffy accepted his marriage proposal. Steffy didn't feel it would be complete until she did one last thing -- remove Liam's portrait from her wall.

Kristen held Sarah captive then used a Sarah mask to break things off with Xander. Sarah found a syringe in the wine cellar, and she attempted to plunge the needle into Kristen when she returned. Sami told Lucas that she had shot an already dead Charlie and had lied to protect Allie. Allie confessed to Claire that she felt responsible for Sami's arrest, but she refused to answer when Claire asked if Allie had shot Charlie. The police identified Kate's gun as the murder weapon. Ciara woke up after surgery with no memory of her life past the motorcycle accident when she had met Ben. Kate heard Jake say Gabi's name in his sleep. Ava admitted to Tripp that she had been running the crime family, but she had cut ties and lost her money. Gabi moved back into the DiMera mansion. Jack asked Gwen to let him give Abigail the same chance to drop her vendetta as he had given Gwen, and Gwen agreed. Chad begged Abigail to give up on revenge, and she agreed.

Loved ones gathered to say goodbye to Franco. Cameron had a special visit from Zander Smith. Gladys paid Brando a visit at the hospital, and she revealed that she had been in town for several days. Jason was arrested for Franco's murder when Gladys claimed that she had seen Jason dispose of the murder weapon. Liesl gave Dante his final order to complete the mission and to claim that Dr. Kirk had instructed him to kill Peter. Dante lured Peter to Nathan's grave, but Sam intervened before Dante pulled the trigger. Brook Lynn returned to Port Charles with big news. Peter and Cyrus discussed their "mutually beneficial" arrangement. Valentin was stunned when Brook Lynn revealed that she was pregnant with his child. The paternity test revealed that Finn was Chase's father. Anna and Finn agreed that it was best to part ways because Anna couldn't promise not to lie again to protect him from the dangers of her work. Sonny confided to Florence that he had been gambling in the hopes of winning enough money to buy his rings back. Nina paid Phyllis a visit. Britt was frustrated when her appointment was rescheduled, because the tremors in her hand had grown worse. Alexis faced a difficult decision about her legal woes.

Lily was taken aback when Billy told her that Victoria had admitted that she still loved him. Billy swore that he loved only Lily, but she preferred to take a step back in their relationship while he sorted through his feelings. Nikki urged Adam to leave town once Chelsea recovered. Ashland accepted Victor and Adam's bid for Cyaxares Media. Chelsea used Adam's tablet to send a text message to Sharon, saying he wished he and Sharon were free. Adam was later shocked when Sharon responded to "his" message by telling him to let her go for good. Chelsea assigned Chloe a vague task to aid in Chelsea's plan to get away from Adam. Rey's illness became worse, but he refused to go to the hospital. Sharon called an ambulance after Rey collapsed. Amanda found Elena's bracelet in the rumpled bedding on Devon's couch. Devon confided that he and Elena still had things to work through, and Amanda walked out on him. Devon later confessed that he and Elena had slept together. Nate dumped Elena. Devon told Elena that he wanted to pursue a future with Amanda. Ashland became suspicious of Kyle and Tara's interaction with one another. Summer proposed that she and Kyle get engaged again, but they agreed to keep it quiet. After a confrontation with Sally, Phyllis requested to meet with Jack.
