Van Hansis: A Brief Biography
At A Glance
Van Hansis took over the role of teen Luke Snyder on The World Turns in December 2005.
Van joined the cast very soon after receiving his BFA in Acting from the School of Drama at Carnegie Mellon University. He's been in professional productions at the Williamstown Theatre Festival in Massachusetts.
Originally from Greenfield, MA, Van has traveled extensively throughout the world, having studied theatre in Moscow while studying at Carnegie Mellon as well as having visited various countries in Latin America as a child. A newcomer to New York City, Van's hobbies include bike riding and teaching himself to cook.
