Who is Abby from Ginny & Georgia?

Abigail "Abby" Littman is a fictional character in the American comedy-drama television series Ginny & Georgia. Introduced in the pilot episode of the series, the character is portrayed by the Canadian actress Katie Douglas.

Throughout the series, Abby struggles with her body image, and there are hints that she might be suffering from an eating disorder. Her behaviour gives away signs that she might be bi-curious and having difficulties in the closet. While her friends are busy elsewhere, she also finds it difficult to deal with her parents' divorce.

She also lets envy get the better of her and occasionally acts rudely and selfishly. Max's birthday present for Ginny proves this. She can be especially mean to Ginny, as evidenced when she steals her earrings and then acts as though she doesn't know about it, or when she makes fun of Ginny's messy hair during the sleepover. At times, Abby can be very blunt.

Abby is also really supportive and fun-loving. She enjoys going to parties, laughing at jokes, and having a good time with her friends. She has also been shown to be kind and considerate to her friends, as shown when she supported Max during the breakup.

The Canadian actress Kathryn Emily Douglas, better known as Katie Douglas, plays Abby in the series. The actress is best known for this role as well as for playing Jackie Sullivan in Pretty Hard Cases.

Douglas began her acting career at the age of six when she appeared in F2: Forensic Factor. She appeared in 22 episodes of Spooksville as Sally Wilcox, her first major role. She also had several leading parts in TV shows and movies, including Level 16, The Girl Who Escaped: The Kara Robinson Story, and Believe Me: The Abduction of Lisa McVey.
