In season 9 of the series, Dwight selects Mose as one of the applicants to interview for the position of junior salesman at the company. Dwight tells about how confident he is in Mose and how he will try to sell the paper out of the building as quickly as possible, because Mose is afraid of paper. Dwight learns during the interview that Mose has 15 years of experience working for a company named Dow Chemicals. Since they live together, Dwight notes that this is false. Mose then runs as quickly as he can out of the office, the building, the parking lot, and down the street.

As Angela spends her bachelorette celebration at Schrute Farms, Mose notices her from the window and eventually kidnaps her. Dwight adds that there is a tradition in which he must buy the group a beer for Mose to return his bride. As Angela curses him, Mose confesses that he had her in his trunk and flees.
