The show takes place nearly a decade after the end of the original series and is set after Dexter vanishes. However, while he now has his urges under control, he is forced back into his old habits after certain events take place in the town where he lives. The series will see Michael C. Hall reprise his role as Dexter Morgan, and it also features Uma Thurman, Peter Dinklage, and several other stars.
When is Dexter: Resurrection coming out?
After Paramount+ with Showtime released a teaser in late April, the teaser also came with a release date that confirmed that Dexter: Resurrection will be released on July 11, 2025. The series will premiere on that date on Paramount+ with Showtime, with its first two episodes streaming when it premieres. The remaining episodes will be released every week, with there set to be a total of 10 episodes.
What is Dexter: Resurrection about?
Set around a decade after Dexter Morgan faked his death and vanished, he is now living in a small snow-covered town. Dexter has managed to control his violent urges and keep the Dark Passenger under control and buried during that time. However, his hand is forced after a series of local events take place alongside the arrival of his teenage son Harrison. Not only that, Angel Batista is hot on their trail and has chased them from Miami. But any information beyond that is not known, as the showrunners have kept information regarding the show at a premium.
