Gomez Addams is the husband of Morticia Addams and the father of Wednesday Addams and Pugsley Addams. He met his wife, Morticia, in Nevermore Academy when they were teenagers. They are deeply in love with each other and often showcase their love publicly. His character is portrayed as a loyal, loving, and passionate person. Unlike Morticia, Gomez shares a good relationship with Wednesday as he understands her feelings. He is a loving father and husband, but he has a dark past that he has kept from his children.

While solving the murder mysteries taking place in Jericho, Wednesday finds out that her father was accused of murdering a normie, Garrett Gates, in his teenage years. After many years, Sheriff Galpin arrested him for murdering Garrett Gates. Gomez reveals the truth to his daughter when she visits him in the prison. It was revealed that Garrett was obsessed with Morticia and stalked her. On the night of Rave’N Dance, Garrett tried to kill Morticia and to protect her, Gomez fought with Garrett. Morticia got scared seeing Garrett beating Gomez, so she grabbed the sword and stabbed Garrett. To protect her, Gomez took the blame. Wednesday then helped her father to get out of the prison.

Just like Morticia, he has fewer appearances, but it is expected that Season 2 will feature more of his character to highlight the family dynamics of Wednesday and the murder mysteries taking place in Jericho.
