Hope revealed Liam's whereabouts to Steffy and Ridge, but Hope was disappointed that no one was giving her the full story. Brooke lit into Bill after she learned what he'd done with Steffy, and from a conversation with Brooke, the shocked Hope deduced that Steffy had slept with Bill. Liam decided that he could never forgive Steffy, but Ridge urged Liam to be the father and husband Ridge knew Liam could be. Bill told Steffy that he was there for her, and he'd be a good grandfather to her child. He offered to be a good stepfather if Steffy would give him the chance.

Will moved into the Martin house. Paul was uncomfortable with his new neighbor, but he and Will bonded over music. John spiked Steve's drink. Steve continued to have blurred vision and dizziness. Valerie told Eli that Lani was pregnant. Eli confronted Lani, but she lied about the paternity of her baby. Jennifer pushed Eric away. J.J. told Jennifer about his baby. A horrified Abigail found Andre's body in his office. After finding Tony's urn at the crime scene, the police arrested Anna for the murder. Anna showed Roman a threatening letter she had received, and he provided her an alibi. Roman hired John to investigate the letter. Gabi asked Stefan to rescind Andre's decision to fire her, but Stefan deferred the decision to the board. Brady and Sonny continued to fight. Abigail accused Gabi of murder. The police watched video surveillance from the crime scene.

Kiki was accepted into medical school. Franco agreed to be a part of Kevin's study, "The Pathology of a Psychopath." Lucas announced that he and Brad had decided to adopt a baby. Spinelli implored Jason to stop Sam from marrying Drew, but Jason refused because it was Sam's choice. Sam and Drew were married. Cesar Faison stepped out of the shadows and kidnapped both Liesl and Lulu then locked them in the tack room at Wyndemere's stables with a canister of deadly gas. Faison was not pleased when he encountered Finn at Anna's house. Anna alerted the police before she confronted Faison. Faison fled Anna's home and made his way to Crimson, where he took Peter and Maxie hostage. Peter took advantage of an opportunity to save Maxie, but Faison remained a step ahead and shot Peter. Nathan raced to Crimson when he was unable to reach Maxie by phone. Faison fired his gun when he saw Nathan step off the elevator, but his satisfaction turned to horror when Maxie cried out her husband's name as Nathan collapsed. Jason shot Faison as Faison tried to escape Metro Court with Carly as a hostage. Peter went to the park, where Anna was waiting for Henrik Faison.

After Nikki spotted him at the hospital, J.T. confessed to Victoria that he had a heart condition as a result of being electrocuted years earlier. Reed moved back home after his parents told him about their reunion. Mariah threatened to sue Devon for plagiarism if he released Tessa's song. After reading Mariah's journal, Devon cut Tessa from his label but agreed to keep her on as an assistant. Noah also read the journal and was stunned to learn about Mariah and Tessa's kiss. Noah ended his relationship with Tessa. Dina joined Abby in Paris. Phyllis set Hilary and Ravi up on a blind date, but Billy thwarted the coupling when he spilled that Hilary was looking to have a baby right away. Hilary visited a doctor to learn about her options to get pregnant. Devon caught Hilary looking at sperm donors on a website. Hilary sought to sell GC Buzz to ensure financial stability for herself and her child. Lily continued to struggle with accepting Sam, but she received surprising support from Hilary. Ashley and Jack butted heads in arbitration. The arbitrator ruled in Jack's favor. Jack took Michael's advice to reach out to Ashley, but Ashley announced her resignation and the end of her relationship with Jack. Ashley decided to start a new venture to compete with Jabot. Victor offered to create a new position for Ashley at Newman.
