Envious of Deacon's progress with Hope, Sheila sneaked in to see Finn, to no avail. Sheila also grew frustrated with Deacon's fixation on Brooke, whom he claimed to be saving himself for. When Sheila saw Deacon in his new place in the Il Giardino supply closet, she pitied him and offered to take him home with her. Deacon refused, and Sheila assured Deacon that he'd never have Brooke. Deacon grinned, thinking of how Brooke had welcomed him into her home. Ridge and Brooke continued to clash over Deacon and Hope. Liam and Hope decided to move, but Brooke wouldn't hear of it. Steffy and Thomas reminded Ridge that he had another family with Taylor. Taylor took Steffy by surprise when she arrived in town to stay a while. Liam met Bill for advice about Deacon, and Bill warned Liam to do everything he could to protect his family.

Chloe found Brady unconscious and covered in Philip's blood. Gwen told Ava about Sarah. Rex returned to Salem. Gabi and Jake negotiated with Victor. Rafe questioned Chad about Kristen. Divers found a prosthetic leg in the river.

Chase told Willow that he was "Bailey's" father and that his affair with Brook Lynn had been a one-night stand. Willow was stunned when she overheard a revealing conversation between Sonny and Nina. Willow decided it was in the family's best interest not to say anything to Carly and Michael about Sonny's relationship with Nina. Liesl learned about Nina's legal troubles. Brando and Sasha asked Michael and Willow to be Liam's godparents. Brando and Sasha braced themselves for news about their son. An assassin strangled Martin, but Laura saved the day. With the assassin in custody, Laura realized that she and Martin were free to return home. Selina Wu ordered Britt to keep her distance from Brad. Selina agreed to kill Peter in exchange for Sonny's help with Brad's parole hearing. Maxie confronted Peter and made it clear that they didn't have a future together. Peter ate poisoned food in jail -- served by Brad. Nikolas was surprised when Ava revealed that she knew he had hired a hit man to kill Hayden. Esme continued to undermine Trina under the guise of planning for their upcoming weekend getaway. Spencer opened up to Josslyn about Esme.

Mariah opted not to attend Chance's party, fearing her presence would make things awkward. Chance's loved ones became increasingly concerned about his fragile psychological state. Victoria swore to Victor that her bid for ChancComm was just business and not an attempt to protect Billy. Nick rejected Ashland's attempt to make peace. Lily supported Billy's plan by voicing her concern to Victoria about Billy backsliding into self-destructive behavior. A mystery woman videotaped Billy drinking at a bar. Phyllis disguised her disappointment when Jack told her he didn't want to rekindle things romantically. Nick and Phyllis reminisced when he returned a box of her belongings. Mariah witnessed Noah and Tessa bonding during a photo shoot for Tessa's new album.
