Steffy and Finn were stunned to learn that Bill had arrived at their house to help Sheila, not them. Bill told them that if they tried to put Sheila in jail, he'd turn Taylor in for shooting him in the back. When Bill turned Sheila in to the police, Katie hailed him as a hero, and Steffy wondered if he'd changed his mind about his ultimatum. Bill doubled down on his threat, but he visited Sheila in prison to get assurances from her that what they had was really real. Mike and Li paid Sheila jailhouse visits with very different motives.

Rafe finalized his divorce. Sarah told Xander she wanted a divorce. Bonnie punched Xander and went to the police. Alex and Stephanie decided to sleep together. Brady demanded the orchid in exchange for Rachel. The orchid disappeared. Eric told John and Marlena about Kristen's blackmail. Rachel returned home. Kayla and Marlena's health declined. Kate's heart stopped, and Rex declared her dead.

Britt left her birthday bash on a high note and with the intention of leaving town, but she had a change of heart as she sat on the docks. Britt interceded when the Hook was about to attack Josslyn. Dex arrived on the pier as Britt tangled with the Hook, and he fired a shot at the killer. The Hook managed to escape, and she was revealed to be Heather Webber. Britt suffered a superficial cut during the altercation with the Hook, but it proved to be deadly. Liesl's joy at Britt's return quickly turned to grief when her daughter died in her arms. Ryan told Heather about Esme's pregnancy. After washing up on the Haunted Star, Esme was taken into police custody and transported to General Hospital to be treated for hypothermia. Nikolas was forced to admit that he was the father of Esme's baby. Esme claimed that she had amnesia. Liesl had deadly intentions when she paid Esme a visit, but Nina stopped Liesl from harming Esme. After making love to Dex, Josslyn decided that it was time to break up with Cameron. Cameron was crushed when Josslyn ended things with him. Willow received good news when she learned that there was a match for her on the bone marrow registry.

Jack and Diane staged an argument to convince Stark that she was distancing herself from the Abbotts. Diane declined Jack's invitation to stay at the Abbott mansion and instead moved back into the Grand Phoenix. Diane proposed that she and Stark resume their criminal lifestyle in Genoa City. Diane contemplated committing grand larceny by stealing from Nikki to prove her loyalty to Stark. Summer's relationships with Kyle and Phyllis became increasingly strained because of Diane. Kyle objected when Summer wanted to take Harrison to France to escape from the growing conflict and possible danger. Sally confirmed her pregnancy with a home test and a visit to her doctor. Nick doted on Sally, believing she had a stomach bug. Mariah and Tessa excitedly made plans to meet Delphine, a prospective birth mother. Danny and Christine reminisced about the past before he left town. Victoria took Nate's advice and allowed Johnny some freedom, including making plans with Chelsea and Connor. Billy confided to Chelsea that his relationship with Lily might be over. Billy and Lily were deeply affected by their first couples therapy session. Abby and Devon decided they wanted to be together. Abby removed her wedding ring. Over Devon's objections, Jill and Lily opted to move forward with Chancellor-Winters' IPO. Tucker encouraged Devon to consider getting Hamilton-Winters back and running the business on his own again. Devon became suspicious of the connection between Tucker and Audra. Sharon and Chance commiserated over being alone by setting up a weekly dinner together.
