Brooke and Taylor hurled accusations at each other as their relationship crumbled over Taylor's idea to set Brooke up with Deacon, and Brooke's insistence that it had been to get the upper hand with Ridge. With the pact dissolved, Brooke informed Ridge that she still believed in destiny and eternal love. Ridge and Taylor told Thomas about Steffy's suspicions regarding Hope, but Thomas readily dismissed the idea that Hope had feelings for him. Brooke informed Hope that Brooke would travel to Italy to support her daughter and keep an eye on Hope and Thomas. Hope was livid that no one trusted her. She fantasized about an intimate encounter in Rome and heard Thomas' voice saying that dreams did come true.

After overhearing a revealing conversation between Martin and Nina, Ned confronted Nina about tipping off the SEC. Ned was about to tell Drew about Nina's secret, but a horrific accident left Ned unconscious and fighting for his life. After Drew threatened to reveal that Tracy had used Brook Lynn to infiltrate Deception, Tracy falsely accused Drew of attacking Ned. Valentin informed Sonny that Pikeman was ready for another shipment, but Sonny refused to help until Sonny and Pikeman had a discussion about the threat facing Sonny. Michael confessed to Carly about his plot with Dex, and he gave Carly the flash drive of the incriminating footage of Sonny. Carly asked Michael to give Dex a new mission. Josslyn implored her mother to use the flash drive to save herself, but Carly destroyed the flash drive instead. Dex told Josslyn that he had decided to remain in Sonny's organization. Elizabeth was promoted to head nurse. Jordan had a one-night stand with Zeke Robinson -- Portia's brother. Spencer decided to hold on to Victor's evidence against Esme because he feared that Victor might have fabricated it. Portia reminded Esme of her rights. Kevin decided to accompany Laura to Chechnya.

After a Newman guard was found drugged and tied up with his uniform missing, Cameron returned to his hotel room with the uniform. Faith was traumatized when she discovered her pet cat lying dead on the front steps. Sally realized that Cameron had been the man who'd approached her when she'd felt dizzy in the park. Over Faith's protests, Sharon insisted that Faith leave town. Adam chided Nick for focusing on Sharon rather than Sally. Nick confronted Cameron and ordered him to leave town. An enraged Nick unleashed his anger by hitting the wall instead of Cameron. Nick nursed an injured hand. After calling in a favor involving a right hook, a bloodied Cameron contacted the police to report an assault. Chance arrested Nick for battery. Kyle walked out on Summer when he realized she'd known for weeks that Phyllis was alive. Phyllis offered to turn herself in to save Summer's marriage, but Summer insisted that her mother flee. Kyle led Chance to Phyllis' hotel suite, but Phyllis had already cleared out. Diane encouraged Kyle to forgive Summer, but he wasn't sure he could do so. Summer contemplated paying someone off to back up Phyllis' story about killing Stark in self-defense. Ashley and Tucker decided to get married. Jack, Billy, and Diane feared that Ashley and Tucker were plotting to take over Jabot. Diane suggested that Jack promote her to a key position at Jabot. Nate invited Victoria on a real date.
