Lea Salonga joined As the World Turns in March 2001, taking over the part of the long-absent Lien Hughes.

Lea, who made her theater debut at the age of 7 has appeared in numerous stage productions, most notably Miss Siagon. In addition to her theater credits, Lea has numerous film credits and is an accomplished recording artist. Lea recorded her first record, Small Voice, at the age of 10, that album earned a gold record. She's also recorded the solo albums, Lea Salonga, In Love, By Heart, Lea Salonga LIVE and The Christmas Album. Lea also provided the singing voice for the female leads is Disney's Mulan and Aladdin.

Lea resides in New York City.
