Brooke confronted an unremorseful Thomas about his scheme to destroy her marriage. Hope lit into Thomas about using Douglas to break up Brooke and Ridge. Hope said she couldn't bear to work with Thomas anymore. Finn procured Sheila's toe and other personal effects from the police. After studying Sheila's toe beneath the microscope, he deduced that she'd sliced her toe off herself. Finn and Steffy questioned Deacon about Sheila, and he, in turn, warned Sheila to get out of town; however, Sheila ran into Steffy in the lobby of Il Giardino. Katie became leery when she saw that Bill had put his sword necklace back on. She turned down his bid for reconciliation again, and an angry Bill told Liam that no one dictated to Bill what he could and couldn't have. Liam warned Bill against letting his ego control him.

After sneaking into Ryan's room, Heather reminisced about their past. Ryan accused Heather of leaving him, breaking his heart, and taking his unborn child. Esme's efforts to trick Nikolas and Elizabeth into taking Esme to the hospital failed. Victor arranged for Spencer to be released from Pentonville, but Nikolas objected to Spencer living at Wyndemere. Finn told Elizabeth that he was certain Esme was hiding out on Spoon Island. Jeff owned up to his mistakes and apologized, but Elizabeth was not ready to forgive her father. Rory told Trina that he loved her. Sonny gave Dex an ultimatum about Josslyn. Michael tried to call off the operation with Dex, but Dex revealed that Sonny was ready to move Dex up in the organization. Carly took steps to undermine Drew's search for Willow's biological family. Cody announced that he had decided to leave town. Cody warned Dante that Sam's interest in Cody's sealed juvenile record would spell trouble for both Cody and Dante. Dante asked Sam to back down from digging into Cody's past. Britt made plans for a New Year's Eve birthday bash on the Haunted Star. Valentin tracked Anna down in Ireland. Diane reeled when Jeremy made ominous references to her family, but Jack interrupted their conversation. Kyle demanded that Jeremy leave Diane alone. Diane confessed to Jack that she'd kept some of Jeremy's money and used it to rebuild her life. Diane refused Jack's offer to repay the debt on her behalf. Jack invited Diane to spend the night in a guest room. Jack threatened to throw Phyllis out of Jabot. Jeremy demanded his money back from Diane, but she worried he was out for revenge. Jack and Diane plotted to have her stay at the Abbott cabin and make Jeremy believe she'd fled town. After making love one last time, Sally sadly told Adam that it was time for them to move on. Nick arrived at Sally's room as Adam was leaving and correctly assumed the two had slept together. Sally assured Nick that she and Adam were over and gave Nick time to consider whether he still wanted to see her. Adam and Chance commiserated over their broken relationships. Chance moved out of the Chancellor mansion but vowed to remain part of Dominic's life. Daniel admitted to Lily that he couldn't see her and Billy as a long-term couple. Billy sensed Chelsea was avoiding him, and she informed him about Lily's advice to rely on a network and not just Billy. Lily and Billy clashed over her conversation with Chelsea. After Noah rejected Audra's advances, Audra sought out Tucker, and they had sex.
