Edmund brought Alexandra home from the Country Club and told her he thought she was "helping" Alan along to be incapacitated so she could get control of Spaulding Enterprise. She denied it saying Alan was her brother and she only wants what is best for him. Edmund said he spent a lot of time doing things for Richard he thought was for his own good and regrets all of it. She told Edmund that she could see Alan was losing control of Spaulding with all the personal issues with Olivia and Phillip and she had to intervene.

Blake was at the station talking to Reva and Holly and was upset that Reva was doing the show on innocent people being wrongfully accused. Reva tried to explain to her that the show was her way of making up for and apologizing for what happened to Holly not to hurt her. Reva said she thought Olivia was innocent because she read her mind and Blake disagreed and said she was wrong this time and Olivia is guilty.

She teased Blake and said her next show was titled, "Grown up daughters; blessing or a curse." Reva went live and got a call from a man who had been on death row and finally a DNA test came back that proved his innocence and then a lady named Gail called in who was very upset saying that her daughter had been killed and she wanted somebody to pay for it and told Reva she had no idea how it felt because she had never had the pain of having one of her children murdered. After the show, Alan called Blake to come and see him but when she got there, Alexandra stopped her and asked her if she was voting against her or for her for CEO. Blake was unsure and Alex let her know that Alan's mental status was shaky and she might want to think about that.

Danny brought over plans for the 5th street restoration over for Cassie to see and Cassie could tell he was distracted. He confided in her about the possibility of Gus being his brother. Cassie in turn told him about Edmund and the benefit he's throwing for Richard and that she was not going and why and how Tammy is upset with her about it. She asked Danny if he felt she was right or wrong. Danny's answer was she was WRONG. She should go to the memorial because Richard would have loved the idea of a library and that Edmund might be scum but he's going too public with it to be lining his pickets and he's doing a good thing in Richard's memory. He told her she needed to move on with her life and put the past behind her. He told her to think of it as a "Cassie coming out party" and wiped a tear from her eye.

Edmund went to see Cassie and told her that he was the appointment she was waiting for and told her he wished to move the memorial to the Beacon. She said NO WAY and they had a big argument. He's arguing that he's changed and wants to do something to make up for the past and she argues that he's a low- life scumbag. Edmund finally got fed up with Cassie's attitude and said "FINE, you want to see me as the Prince of Darkness, then that's what I'll be. I'm going to hold the memorial either way. I can have it in Washington and you can choose not to come and Tammy will think you're a selfish witch or you can have it here, make Tammy happy, make money, and keep an eye on me. Do you want the business or not!" At that, Cassie agreed to hold it at the Beacon. Edmund solemnly says, "I miss him" and Cassie softened and said, "I know you do, I'm sorry."

Michelle had an argument with her dad about Danny. Michelle was telling him about the romantic pizza he had sent with the locket and Ed blew up. He said, "Are you REALLY getting back together with him?" He reminded her of how much grief he had caused the family. Michelle defended Danny and said she's not denying the feelings she has for him anymore. During their argument Ed expressed how upset he was that she never gave Bill a chance. Michelle thought her and Danny might have another chance if she would just get out of her own way and let it happen. Michelle went to call Danny but at the same time, Danny was trying to call her so Michelle got his voice mail and Danny got a busy signal. Michelle looked at Robbie and said "Getting back with your daddy is going to be harder than I thought."

The woman who came to the bars at the convent Gus was at WAS in fact Lucia. She lied because she's not aloud to have visitors. She asked how Gus's parents were and Gus told her that they were dead. He said "Both my mothers are dead." Lucia said "So you know." Gus told her that he knows SOME but needed her to fill in the blanks. She pleaded, "no, no" and started to walk away but Gus stopped her. Lucia told him that Regina moved Heaven and Earth to find a safe place for him. Regina was sick with a serious illness she got before she became pregnant with Gus. Gus asked why his father didn't take him and asked if it was Miguel and she refused to talk about it anymore. She told him it didn't matter who his birthparents were but of course, Gus needs to know. He did not get any more information out of her.

Gus returns from Chicago and tests Alexandra, by pretending he believes Miguel Santos is his father. She shares information about his mother, her troubled relationship with Miguel and the plot to keep him from ever finding out about his son. Meanwhile, Sister Lucia takes off her habit and heads out to see Alexandra. At the Spaulding mansion, Lucia nearly runs into Gus, but is quickly hidden by Alexandra. Alexandra and Lucia meet and it is revealed that Lucia is in fact Gina, Gus' mother, and that her affair was not with Miguel, but with Alan. Lucia blasts Alexandra for not telling her that the Augustinos are dead. At the same time, Gus and Harley talk about what they suspect -- that Gus is really a Spaulding. Marina chastises Shayne for almost getting her stuck with the bill at the Country Club. She lets him know that Ben came to her rescue. Later during an interview for the school newspaper, Marina helps keep Shayne from looking like he is trashing his baseball team. Shayne teases Marina that she is jealous and wants to spend more time with him. She reminds him that she is in love with Ben and is just trying to be his friend. Ben confronts Eden about the sexual offer he received on his "date." She plays innocent and tempts him with more money, and Ben can't resist. Ben tells Marina that he took the "job" and also says that no matter what he is doing, he'll only be thinking of her. Marah and Tony have a disagreement about the work she is doing for Eden. Later, Tony phones Eden's business and pretends to be a businessman hiring an escort. Eden figures it out and doesn't give Tony the proof he is looking for. Later, Marah and Tony run into Eden, who is very nice to them. Tony is still suspicious. Alone for the moment, Eden lets Tony know that she knew it was him on the phone trying to trap her. Tony concedes that Eden caught him, but also warns her not to hurt Marah, or else.

Gus and Harley reexamine the facts and realize that they've both been avoiding the obvious solution: Gus is a Spaulding. They try to figure out who his mother is. Gus thinks it is obvious that Alexandra is his mother. When Gus and Harley arrive at the mansion, Lucia narrowly escapes discovery. Gus confronts Alexandra, believing she is his mother. Overhearing, Lucia steps out of hiding and lets Gus know she is in fact his mother. Phillip puts his faith in Olivia and vows to find the person who set her up but he is still hesitant to point his finger at Alan. When Alan attempts to reach out to Olivia, she rejects him. Alan assures Olivia that he won't let her go. In his anger, he tosses his briefcase across the room and scatters its contents. Once Alan is gone, Phillip and Olivia notice two cell phones in the detritus. Olivia recognizes one as an exact clone of her own cell phone -- the one that was used to stalk Reva. Alone with Alan, Phillip still finds himself wanting to give his father the benefit of the doubt. When Alan says Phillip's name, it triggers the cell phone's voice recognition and Phillip realizes that Alan programmed the phone. Alan looks Phillip in the eye and swears he did not frame Olivia. Marah visits Tony on the site of an old abandoned museum. Danny has it set for demolition, but Marah is horrified because she wants to live there. Marah makes an impassioned pitch about the potential of the space, and in the end, Tony and Josh are convinced. Tony says he will live with Marah to keep her safe and Josh realizes there is nothing he can do to stop her.
