Two Scoops is a weekly commentary column written by our staff of writers. Sometimes you might agree, and other times you might disagree. Either way, we love hearing your opinions, too, so be sure to send us your thoughts.

When it comes to what's happening on The Young and the Restless, everyone has an opinion -- and our Two Scoops columnists are no different. Every week, our commentators share their thoughts on everything that's taking place in Genoa City... the good, the bad, and everything in between.

If you're looking to be a little nostalgic, we've archived our Two Scoops columns from 2004 through the current week. Now, you can easily flip back through the pages of history to see how storylines were received when they first played out. Has time softened a rocky reception?

The Young and the Restless only aired three episodes during the Thanksgiving holiday week, and, like most Thanksgivings around the country, there was no shortage of drama going around as families in Genoa City gathered together. But the Newman family, in particular, are on a collision course for what is sure to be their most memorable (and most dramatic) Thanksgiving holiday yet! Join our Two Scoops columnist as he dishes on Thanksgiving in Genoa City.

It's been a wild ride on The Young and the Restless this year -- fake deaths, marriages that end the day after the wedding, pretending to have dementia, and infighting at every business in town! Let's unravel it all in this week's Two Scoops.

This past week on The Young and the Restless, several characters made life-altering decisions for seemingly no other reason than wanting to make a change in their (suddenly) mundane lives. Join our Two Scoops columnist as he discusses the impact their decisions had on the rest of Genoa City -- and what the fallout could mean for the future of B&R -- er, Y&R! Whether you consider yourself to be a bored troublemaker or part of "the rest of us" that are usually left to manage all the manifested drama, this column is for you!

So much in Genoa City seems to revolve around Jeremy Stark and his connection to Diane. Phyllis, Nikki, and Ashley continue to plot their revenge against Diane, especially with the threat of Jeremy tracking her down. Jack and Kyle vow to protect her from this vicious villain, and Diane remains cocky and maintains that she is the victim -- until she sees Jeremy. Join our columnist for her views and opinions in Two Scoops for this week.

The women of Genoa City were taking no prisoners this week! The powerhouse Jess Walton (Jill) returned to the show, Abby convinced Chance to come home, Victoria outmaneuvered Victor and Adam, Amanda and Imani celebrated their new family law practice, and Lily accepted the CEO position at Chancellor Industries! That's not to say the men weren't busy this week, too, but let's be honest — it was all about the women this week.

Have some Genoa City residents lost their minds? Will Adam ever be ''normal'' again? Will he and Chelsea reunite and have a normal life? Will Faith get professional help? Is Billy being set up? Will Summer and Kyle reunite or go their separate ways? Does Theo believe he can scoop up Dina's estate? Join our columnist as she offers her opinion on these questions and more in this issue of Two Scoops.

There were big -- and much-needed -- surprises in Genoa City this week, and most involved women, who showed strength instead of being damsels in distress in need of rescue, #thankyouverymuch! From owning the family skillset to owning personal values and more, the surprises kept rolling and kept this viewer watching happily. And as much as there were surprises, there were lies to fill in any gaps. Let's scoop about it.
